A New WOW Hotel Complex Coming to Miami
The esteemed Genting Group of Malaysia will be opening a three billion dollar casino-resort mega property in Miami, Florida in the fall of 2012.
Genting has just purchased the outstanding mortgage debt on the Omni Center, a mixed-use complex, where the 14 acre waterfront luxury property will be built.
The new center, entitled “Resorts World Miami”, has been designed by the Miami-based architectural firm of Arquitectonica, and will include four hotels, a state-of-the-art convention center, residential apartment suites, a 3.6 acre rooftop lagoon and seemingly almost no right angles!
Stunning! Amazing! One can only wonder if the cuisine there will be as cutting edge?
Post Note on September 22, 2011: Resorts World Manila and Resorts World Bayshore, both in the Philippines, are now investing US$1.35 billion to increase their properties’ guestroom capacity.
